In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, we have developed a series of virtual webinars on business support and preparation for recovery.
The series is one of our support channels to help our members navigate the new business landscape created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Safeguard Your Staff’s Wellbeing – Monday 11th May, 11am – 12pm
Thanks to funding from Lambeth Council, Get Set UK are able to support local businesses during the COVID-19 situation.
The webinar will be chaired by Get Set Chief Executive, Thomas Harley, and delivered by guest speaker, Kevin Moore FRSA FIEP. Kevin is a leading mental health trainer and consultant, who works with a range of public, private and voluntary sector organisations to maximise the well-being of their teams.
Following this session, you will be able to sign up to the service, where dedicated staff can provide you with bite-sized, ready-to-use resources that you can introduce into your business.
They will also host another meeting to cover the furlough scheme.
Managing Cashflow (specifically for the retail / food and beverage sectors) – Tuesday 12th May, 11am – 12pm
Business Doctors will give an overview of underlying principles of cash flow, conserving cash, the cash cycle and how to do a cash flow forecast. With topics like how to reduce direct and non-direct costs, converting stock to cash, freezing supplies, negotiating with suppliers and landlords.
Social Media for small Businesses During Lockdown – Wednesday 13th May, 11am – 12pm
Delivered by local social media marketing agency Looped Media, this webinar will cover how to put your business into hibernation whilst being careful not to damage your business for recovery stage.
- How to create interesting content to keep your audience using your services now or ready to use them when you re-open (suggestions for video content/ how to/ behind the scenes/putting a personality to your business etc).
- How to engage and interact (thinking about what platforms the audience is on, ways to engage and how to jump on the need for interaction just now etc)
Intro To Workplace Wellbeing Strategies And Wellbeing When Returning To Work – Thursday 14th May, 11am – 12.30pm
Rener Wellbeing’s virtual and interactive workshop will cover an introduction on how to develop a wellbeing strategy for your business as well as how and why to support your wellbeing and your team’s wellbeing as you return back to the workplace and beyond. You will leave the session tangible take-aways you can implement right away and hopefully sustain.
