Streatham-Croydon is the 5th oldest rugby club in England, celebrating its 150th anniversary last year.
They are keen to work with local businesses who could sponsor their May 2023 rugby tour to Lyon. As a sponsor, you would be assisting a great local endeavour where the money would go towards their playing shirts. Your logo or business name would be placed on the shirts which they wear for tour fixtures and throughout the year at training/the gym etc.
This would be a great promotional opportunity online as well, they have a great social media presence with good engagement, and would promote you across all social channels.
“Our women’s side has over 50 registered players and we have a first team and development side. The club also has a growing girls side and 2 men’s senior teams. We have strong links with the local community and work in close partnership with many local groups, including Croydon Voluntary Action.
With women’s rugby a fast-growing sport in the UK we are eager to promote our sport and therefore have a strong recruitment drive. We have a diverse women’s side that has grown year on year since its inception 6 years ago and our first team have been promoted 3 times during this period. As well as welcoming new players we are also proud of how our existing players continue to develop. We have seen players move onto premiership teams and even represent Ireland and Jamaica in both sevens, tens and 15s. Like any good rugby team, we also have a healthy social calendar too!”
For £500, you can have your logo featured on the front or back of the shirts or £250 to be on a sleeve. They are open to discussing other ways that could work depending on what would suits you best.
