Lights switch-on and festive market

A firm favourite on the Streatham events calendar, the popular Lights On event returns to Babington plaza, Streatham Green on Small Business Saturday December 3rd, from 11 to 5pm, come and enjoy this year’s Christmas Lights Switch On in Streatham Village. The market will begin at 11am with a selection of unique retailers and delicious food, it’s the perfect experience for finding the presents you’re looking for plus entertainment from a variety of talented local talents. The lights switch on show will begin at 4pm.

Our Magical Elf Car is also here to help get Streatham into the Christmas spirit! Sent from the North Pole on a special mission, this allows children to video call Santa and post letters to Lapland via the magical postbox. The Elf team will also take and print your picture out, for you to keep, whilst the DJ Elf will keep you entertained with lots of festive songs. Catch the Elf Car on Saturday December 3rd going from Streatham Hill down to the Common.

Babington Plaza sits between Mitcham Road and Streatham High Road. It is one of the few civic spaces along the High Road and is an ideal place for community events.
