A Christmas Trail for Little Explorers
There’s extra magic for Streatham’s youngest residents - children under eight can take part in our Streatham Christmas Trail from 6th December - a fun festive adventure through local shops and cafés. Look out for the eleven gingerbread shapes in the windows of participating businesses to win fantastic prizes including FREE soft play sessions at Another Planet Play, Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre, and Mowgli’s Home.

Markets Full of Magic
The celebrations begin with two special festive markets. On Saturday 6 December, the Streatham Village Christmas Market returns to St Leonard’s Church Hall, offering a wonderful mix of local makers, artisans, and delicious seasonal treats. Then, on Sunday 7 December, head up to The Rookery Christmas Market on Streatham Common and browse stalls brimming with handcrafted gifts, enjoy mulled wine and hot chocolate, and take in the festive music while raising vital funds for Streatham Common Co-Operative to help them run the award-winning Rookery Gardens.
Christmas Trail Terms and Conditions
Age Limit: The soft play area is suitable for children aged 2 to 12 years.
Redemption Process & Booking: Participants can visit Mowgli's Home with their completed Gingerbread Trail map and exchange it for one free soft play session.
As we operate on a booking system, advance booking is required.

Session Details & Pricing: Soft play sessions are normally £5 per hour, but one session will be free upon presentation of a completed Gingerbread Trail map.
The soft play area at Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre is perfect for children aged 0–7. It’s a bright, welcoming space where kids can play, learn, and make friends while parents relax with a cup of coffee. Open daily from 9 am to 7 pm, with the last session bookable at 6 pm. T&C: Please note: soft play session prizes are available for the first 25 children who complete the Christmas Trail and book in person.
To claim a soft play session prize, children must present a completed Christmas Trail Map at Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre reception. One prize per person. Booking must be made in person. Claim by 31st January 2026.
