Controlled parking zone to be introduced in Streatham

A public survey has been developed in order to seek the views of residents and local businesses to consider the introduction of Controlled Parking Zones (CPZ) across the wards of Streatham Wells, St. Leonard’s and Streatham South.

Local residents have recently raised the issue about parking problems mostly caused by commuters who park and complete their journey by public transport or those working in nearby businesses.

CPZs can be a contentious issue as residents are generally required to purchase a permit in order to park in a Controlled Parking Zone. To have your say about the proposed CPZ, please complete this survey and submit it by 12th of March 2018. You will need your Unique Reference Number (URN) enclosed in the newsletter sent out by Lambeth council to authenticate your submission.

The decision on how to proceed with either a CPZ, therefore paying for a permit, or to continue with the current parking situation will be based on the responses received from this survey. Therefore your participation is very important.

The results of the survey will be analysed and discussed with all the relevant ward councillors to develop a strategic parking programme. Once a decision has been made, you will be notified of the outcome.
