COVID-19 Business update

How we’re responding as a BID

We are working hard to support your business in Streatham during the Coronavirus pandemic evolving here in the UK.

We’ve been engaged in daily conversations with senior Lambeth Council Officers and Councillors along with Lambeth Business Improvement District (BID) Managers, to discuss the impact on our businesses and what level of support and intervention local businesses would need to survive this crisis. As a result, Jack Hopkins Leader of Lambeth Council, sent this letter to Rishi Sunak, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, on behalf of Lambeth Businesses requesting detailed support.

Please see the outline below detailing the measures announced by the Government to support businesses in plain English.

If you would like to book a phone consultation to discuss ways in which we can support you please email us to set this up.

For now our networking and events calendar is being postponed however we are working hard to look at ways which we can digitally support you and encourage Streatham businesses to reach customers. We are also planning how best we can support you to recover once we have got through the coming months.
