Our GDPR workshop, held on the 21st May 2018,focused on what the new GDPR regulation means to us all and the potential risk attached to non-compliance. The workshop clarified many misunderstandings surrounding the new law.
In summary:
- Businesses must ensure they have consent from both employees and customers/consumers to keep their details – stating clearly why their information is being kept, what it will be used for and how long it will be kept by the business.
- As a business owner, ensure you update your Privacy Policy on your website and let your customers aware of the changes made
