inStreatham: The word on the street…

‘inStreatham’ has recently launched a new document entitled the ‘Streatham Street Manual’. Consultants We Made That are behind the manual’s development with Maddison Graphic being responsible for the graphic design. The manual essentially lists proposed improvements for the high road in a form that is reminiscent of a shopping list, with the improvements being on both a minor and major scale. The drawings are wonderfully illustrated in order to portray the possible projects, with budgets ranging from £500 to £2m. The manual’s key purpose is to underline a small strategy for the public face of the area, as well as to attract potential funding.

The work was commissioned by inStreatham manager Louise Abbotts, who explained that:

“The manual is in the format of a binder, as it is intended to remain live, so that additional projects can be inserted”.

The manual will help to show that even modest amounts of capital spend will be able to contribute to a wider improvement plan.
