Pavement license

You can now apply for the new ‘Pavement License’ at a cost of £100 valid until September 2021.

The original tables and chairs Licence will become a new pavement License which allows for expanded outdoor seating to accommodate necessary changes for social distancing on your premises and to support businesses to be successful.

The license cost will be capped at £100 and will last through to September 2021. If you already have applied for a license for 2020-2021 you can apply for a refund and reapply for the new license. Any property looking to expand seating will be considered as long as safety can be demonstrated for both passers by and customers.

Lambeth Council are offering an expedited service to get all applications turned around in 5-10 working days.
