InStreatham BID is continuing to deliver for Streatham and work through the list of pledges that it made to businesses when it went to ballot in 2013.
Working towards reducing crime and anti social behavior, YOU, the businesses of Streatham, now fund two additional police officers who patrol Streatham High Road dedicated to tackling crime in our area.
And we are pleased to report its working!
Having analyzed crime statistics for the year 2014-15 and 2015-16 we are to say that shoplifting in the area has reduced by 18.3% on crime involving thefts of a value under £200 and by 20% on thefts valued at over £200.
We will continue to keep you updated on the work of our local officers but if there are issues you feel our officers could assist with please get in touch with us at the BID office and we will send them your way.
