Christmas Shop Window contest
We’re launching our 2018 Shop window competition this Christmas and we want all businesses on our high road to take part! Join in with the festive spirit and contribute to Streatham’s wonderful festive displays. Create bright and decorative displays with a special award for the winning business.
The Christmas Shop Window contest will be based on the criteria that covers all aspects of Christmas, including visual impact, creativity and ideas, and innovative themed displays.
Consider this:
- Is your shop inviting?
- Painted to a good standard?
- Have relevant and nice signage?
- Have clean windows?
- Is the entrance and outdoor area clean?
The contest will be judged by a visual merchandiser and interior stylist with extensive retail experience having designed and dressed the windows at Liberty and Harvey Nichols for many years. She’s also worked with John Lewis, House of Fraser, MADE.com, Living Etc, Farrow & Ball and many more!
Our Judge will be visiting the high street on the 7th of Decemebr so ensure you have your display ready. The winner will be announced in the week commencing December 10th. Good luck!
This competition is one of the many ways the BID aims to boost footfall, lift local businesses and light the area all year round.
Businesses in Streatham have gone to great lengths to decorate their shops in previous years.
