Streatham Festival Season 2022

Thanks to Streatham businesses, InStreatham is able to support these events that make Streatham great for us all.

Summer may be coming to an end but the fun doesn’t stop in Streatham. As one of London’s cultural hot-spots, Streatham offers the very best in arts, music and food throughout the year, there is plenty to see and explore! Take a look at some things on offer this autumn:

Wind day – September 11th, 11am-4pm*

The Streatham Common Kite Day returns for 2022! Enjoy a family day watching world class kite displays with the opportunity to fly your own. With live music and food and drink stalls to explore. Wind Day is run entirely by volunteers and any profits made is invested in the conservation and maintenance of Streatham Common and the beautiful Rookery Gardens. Streathamkiteday.org.uk

Little Big Peace Event – 17th September – 21st September

Celebrate International Day of Peace with a programme of wellbeing events that hope to strengthen and build community capacity by exploring the culture and concept of peace. Join others on the journey of introducing peace into busy stressful living; relieve mental health issues and a new Power to Change film by Celebrate Life. Streatham Free Film Festival – 24th September to 5th October

Pop up cinemas in Streatham’s best spaces and venues bringing people together to enjoy free movies, expect the best in new releases, foreign film, inspiring documentaries, family favourites such as Encanto and classics from Dune to Top Gun.
