About InStreatham BID

InStreatham BID represents local businesses, working to improve the trading environment and strengthen Streatham’s town centre. We deliver practical projects across the public realm, crime and safety, business engagement, sustainability and events and marketing. We work in partnership with several stakeholders including Lambeth Council, the police and Transport for London (TfL)

About the Roles

We are recruiting for a small, capable team to deliver the BID’s Business Plan and support Streatham’s business community. These are freelance, flexible roles suited to people who enjoy responsibility, clear outcomes and working in a place based environment.

You’ll be forming a new team focused on local delivery, strong governance, clear priorities and a commitment to providing real value for levy paying businesses.

 

BID Manager (3 Days per Week)

InStreatham BID |Streatham / London  / Hybrid | Part time (3 days per week) | Start March 2026 onwards

We’re looking for a proactive and capable BID Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of InStreatham BID.

You will be responsible for managing the Business Plan, overseeing public realm and marketing projects, working with partners and suppliers, engaging local businesses, and reporting to the Board. 

This includes local businesses, interfacing with stakeholders from Lambeth Council and the Police. As well as leading a small team and managing the budget. 

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, problem solving and working closely with a wide range of stakeholders.

Administrator (Part Time)

InStreatham BID | Streatham / London / Hybrid Remote / Hybrid | 2 days per week | Start March 2026 onwards

We’re looking for a highly organised Administrator to support the smooth running of the BID’s operations.

This role provides support across finance administration, governance, CRM, inbox management and event coordination. You’ll be responsible for keeping records accurate, documents organised and processes running efficiently. You must be comfortable dealing with stakeholders as well as analytical to interpret supplier reports and data.

This is a key support role suited to someone who takes pride in accuracy, organisation and keeping things on track behind the scenes, they must feel comfortable being outward facing when needed to support the wider team.

We will be recruiting a Marketing & Communications Manager in the coming months once the BID Manager and Administrator are in place.
