The Streatham Food Festival is brought to you every year by inStreatham. It was founded by a local resident in 2009 and has been led by prominent Streatham enthusiasts since then.
The event is designed to put the amazing restaurants, cafes, and bars of Streatham in the spotlight, encouraging residents to try new places and attracting visitors to the area. We do this through our ever-popular Food Tour, Toddler Tour and Food Fair.
Its first year proved to be a big hit and the festival grew from a day to a week long. The Streatham Food Tour and Toddler Tour offers an affordable way to try small plates of food in multiple local eateries, with scorecards bringing a fun and competitive element to proceedings. Every year, the Tours and Food Fair attracts thousands of people to the area, offering something for everyone from pop-ups to food growing sessions, fundraisers to film nights.
We took on ownership of the festival in 2016 with a renewed focus on supporting the restaurants and food businesses of Streatham. In 2019, we celebrated the festivals 10thanniversary!
We hope that the Streatham Food Festival will continue to be an important fixture in the local calendar.
