Remote workers in Streatham can now enjoy a £10 meal deal and support local hospitality businesses on Streatham High Road.
Rising costs are forcing consumers to keep a tight rein on their spending, while local businesses are seeing fewer customers come through their doors. Local firm, Werkzone, is aiming to give both sides a helping hand with a meal deal promotion that starts on Monday 1 May 2023.
The ‘Huddle Together’ £10 Meal Deal encourages remote workers to treat themselves to lunch for £10 or less, while giving local coffee shops, pubs and restaurants a much-needed boost.
Local favourites include hidden gems and well-known retailers alike, including Green Cactus Café, Café, Perfect Blend, Batch & Co SW16 (Little Batch) and I Love Coffee.
Werkzone founder and Streatham resident, Odette Hutchinson, says “Huddle Together aims to help price-savvy remote workers support their emotional wellbeing, by letting them work in a social environment close to home, but not at home. By treating themselves to a £10 lunch at one of Streatham’s favourite places to eat and drink, they’ll also be giving local businesses a fighting chance of surviving well into 2024 and beyond.”
